City of Mattoon Fire Hydrant Flushing The City of Mattoon Public Works Department, will begin flushing fire hydrants Monday, May 13, 2024 and continue until all lines are flushed. Broadway Streetscaping from 14th to 16th This project is a continuation of the streetscape improvements the City of Mattoon has done from 16th west. This project will continue incorporating the same design and aesthetics that has been used to date.
